Details
ObjectiveTo investigate the interactions of light, aerosols, and clouds and their effects on air quality and climate.
Ocean StudyOcean colour analysis to better understand oceanic dynamics.
Primary InstrumentOcean Colour Instrument (OCI) for determining ocean colour from ultraviolet to shortwave infrared.
Payloads–Planetary Exploration Spectro-polarimeter (SPEXone) –Hyper Angular Research Polarimeter (HARP2)
Instrument Features– Complementary spectral and angular sampling–  Polarimetric precision – Enhanced spatial coverage
Mission Goals– Improved atmospheric correction  –Extensive data on aerosols and clouds –Expanded ocean research
SignificanceIts synergistic payload is expected to make substantial advances in aerosol-cloud-ocean studies.
